We are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration between Corsair Group International and Control Union Malaysia, announced at the Sustainable Action Conference 2026 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
Building on Corsair’s Plastic Waste Removal Standard and CSR Plastic Credit Programme, this collaboration will focus on strengthening transparency, traceability and verification—from plastic waste collection and processing through to the issuance and retirement of CSR plastic credits.
Together, we will work to strengthen the documentation supporting plastic recovery outcomes and help businesses clearly document and communicate the environmental activities they support. Control Union will contribute its technical expertise in sustainability assurance, with verification arrangements respecting independence and impartiality requirements.
As also announced today, Corsair has joined Control Union’s Zero Waste to Landfill ecosystem as part of this strategic collaboration. Participation will be supported by digital tools for tracking waste, maintaining supporting records and improving reporting.
Our shared ambition is to make it easier for businesses around the world to support responsible plastic waste recovery with confidence—and turn circular economy commitments into practical, measurable action.
