Corsair Group International and Control Union Malaysia have announced a strategic collaboration to further strengthen the credibility, traceability and accountability of Corsair’s CSR Plastic Credit Program.
Building on Corsair’s existing Plastic Waste Removal Standard (PWRS), the collaboration will focus on further improving how plastic waste recovery is documented, developing robust validation and verification arrangements.
From waste collection and processing through to the issuance, transfer and retirement of CSR Plastic Credits, the aim is greater transparency at every stage.
Control Union will contribute its experience in independent assessment and sustainability assurance, with independence and impartiality preserved.
For businesses participating in the CSR Plastic Credit Program, the goal is clearer process of the plastic recovery they support—and greater confidence in how their contribution is communicated.
Together, we are working to turn plastic waste recovery commitments into practical, measurable action.
