Corsair is happy to share another positive step in its general buyback program: an open-market buyback of more than 4.7 million CSR plastic credits.
This latest buyback includes:
• CSR — 4,247,228
• CSR25 — 419,948
• CSR26 — 60,008
These buyback transactions are associated with revenue originating from the sales of high-quality pyrolysis oil delivered by Corsair to its customers in the petrochemical industry.
Corsair’s buyback program adds an important additional source of value to the CSR plastic-credit ecosystem, alongside the real-world offsets / retirements made by end users. Together, these activities help support a stronger and more active ecosystem as it grows.
The purchases are complete. The acquired credits will be transferred from the open markets to Corsair’s Treasury wallet after the weekend and will become visible on blockchain once the transfers are completed.
