CORSAIR TO DEVELOP A PLASTIC WASTE CHEMICAL RECYCLING FACILITY ON THE ISLAND OF SARDINIA, ITALY
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Corsair has formed a collaboration to build a recycling facility in Sardinia.
Together with our new Local Partner, we will utilize, construct, and develop an existing industrial property located strategically close to a harbor – to become the very first commercial-scale plastic waste chemical recycling facility in the region.
The facility targets to convert 12 million kilos of discarded post-consumer plastic garbage into approx 9 million liters of ISCC-certified, high-quality Advanced Bio-oil per year.
This oil is to be delivered to the International Off-take partners of Corsair and to be used by the largest Petrochemical companies in the world – in the manufacturing of new, more environmentally friendly plastic products.
Stay tuned for more exciting information to be released about the project development steps of Corsair Italia.
