Through more than five years of successful operations, Corsair has demonstrated its ability to scale, innovate, and deliver measurable environmental outcomes on a global level.

Corsair is also the developer and issuer of the world’s leading plastic credit program, the CSR Plastic Credit, providing a pioneering mechanism to drive accountability, sustainability, and transparency in plastic waste management.

The company collaborates closely with strategic partners in the petrochemical industry and is positioning itself to become one of the largest plastic waste pyrolysis recycling enterprises in the world. Corsair’s overarching objective is to establish and nurture strategic business partnerships with both technical and financial companies, as well as governmental institutions worldwide, creating scalable solutions that combine ecological responsibility with long-term economic value.

WHO WE ARE

Behind the Name “Corsair Group”

The name Corsair has deep historical and linguistic roots. It originates from the Latin word cursus - meaning “course.” ‘ “journey,” or “expedition” - which evolved into the Italian corsaro and later the French corsaire.

Historically, a corsaire was a highly skilled, state-commissioned sailor or navigator, authorised to venture into uncharted waters, undertake daring missions, and return with results.

We chose this name because it reflects our spirit of exploration, purpose, and resilience.

Much like those legendary corsairs, we embark on expeditions into new and often uncertain territory - in our case, pioneering advanced solutions to tackle the global plastic waste crisis.

Our vision

For us, “Corsair” embodies:

While the name carries a historical connection to adventure and exploration, our mission is firmly focused on the future - steering the course toward environmental transformation.

The “Group” in our name represents the worldwide network of teams, partners, and communities who share this voyage with us
